Reiki is a Japanese form of relaxation, stress reduction, and compassionate expression. It works with Eastern beliefs of a universal system of life force energy which permeates all living things. The subtle life force energy is that which helps to create a relaxing effect upon the client. 

Through the laying of hands, subtle energy flows from the Reiki practitioner to the client. This energy also flows into the clients electromagnetic field. 

What can you expect during a session?

Dress casually. This is not a corporate business meeting, and you should not worry about how you look. I only care about your experience in the session, and not your appearance. 

As a Second Degree Reiki Practitioner, I can offer not only in-person Reiki, but remote Reiki sessions as well. While Reiki is generally taught to be delivered with direct hand contact, it is not always necessary or possible to do so for various personal or public reasons. It is my wish to ensure the client has a relaxing experience, and thus in Reiki sessions I will only touch the client with expressed permission.
